Just like the snow falling all around us, December has been filled with a flurry of activity. Everywhere we go, people are heads down working incredibly hard to get everything across the line before the end of the year.  

It’s a funny quirk of human nature that we place so much pressure on ourselves to tick everything off our ‘to do’ lists before switching on our ‘out of office’ and taking a break.  

The reality is it never all gets done. Not completely. There’s always something else that needs our time or our attention. So, at some point, you just have to say ‘enough’ and allow yourself to switch off and recharge.  

After all, the challenges and pressures of 2022, which are showing no signs of abating in the year ahead, the need to prioritise people’s health and wellbeing has never been greater.  

At Hatching Ideas, we hold tight to our values and practice what we preach. So, this year we’re closing our doors from Friday 16th December until we return on Tuesday 3rd January and will be taking time out to reflect, restore and recharge our batteries for the year ahead. 

As we prepare to head off to spend time with our loved and dear ones, we wanted to take a moment to express how much we have loved working with all our wonderful clients over 2022. We are so humbled and grateful to have played a part in making a positive difference to the working lives of others during a time in human history when it matters more than ever.
