Hatching Ideas is excited to be working with the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) to design and deliver an Executive Leadership Programme. We will work with their leaders to enhance their skills and ensure they have the tools to successfully navigate the organisation on its journey to continued excellence through a more dynamic and collaborative way of working.
In the wake of the pandemic, a realignment of government and healthcare priorities has taken place. There is renewed focus on reducing health and wider inequalities which the pandemic has brought into the spotlight. The unprecedented pace of change and need for innovation is set to continue. Flexibility is needed to provide swift access to the latest and most effective treatments, whilst designing care around people’s needs. The post-pandemic recovery requires a shift to collaborative and partnership working across the health and care system. This means working seamlessly across boundaries, breaking down silos and reducing bureaucracy to deliver integrated and responsive services.
Within this context, NICE has set itself a strategic ambition to continue to be a world-class source of trusted, useful guidance and getting the best care to people fast, while delivering value for the taxpayer. In its five year strategy it sets out plans to ensure it can continue to make decisions at pace delivering innovative treatments into the health and care system and to be an organisation as brilliant as the people in it.
Hatching Ideas is proud to be supporting the NICE executive leadership team with a bespoke development programme designed to complement the context and challenges they must anticipate and respond to.
We look forward to working with the executive team to harness their collective capabilities and develop their leadership skills to enable them to successfully guide NICE through the transformational change that lies ahead.
